TIWAG aims to expand its knowledge and expertise by working on state-of-the-art research projects. Findings are incorporated in ongoing planning processes. We regularly support and act as mentors to students on graduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of hydraulic engineering and ecology. In addition, TIWAG holds lectures at universities in Austria and abroad.
The core fields of research, monitoring and habitats are inextricably linked. They give us insights as to how we should manage existing plants and plan new ones.
